Exclamation Passenger Window Stuck!

Hey There,

I did a preliminary search, and no luck yet. So i'm hoping someone can help me out! My passenger window is stuck up, and won't let me close the door properly. If you notice, the window will go up, and down depending on the car turning on, or off.. However its stuck being to far up, and the door can't properly close without slamming it and risk breaking the glass.

I initially thought the motor was bad, but I noticed the door lock button, and window button on the passenger panel won't light up either! So I'm thinking, perhaps a fuse is bad?

The driver side buttons light up and operate correctly. Except the passenger window button activating.
Is there a specific fuse for the passenger side that I can pull and replace? Assuming that is the problem...

For fuses and their locations, check the Owner's Manual. If you didn't get a printed copy with the car, you can download a PDF from NissanUSA's web site.

If it were just one side acting up, I'd guess the problem was with a limit switch in the door. Since both sides are involved, it sounds more like a wiring problem. Everything you want to know about 370Z electrical systems (and more) is in the FSM (link in my sig).

Make sure the rubber grommet is not messing with the door pin. If mine does this I will press the button with the door open and make the window go up and down.

Did anyone take the door panel off for anything lately?

Try reprogramming the windows. There's a procedure in the manual.

Open door, turn on ignition so windows operate, run passenger window all the way down from the driver's side, close door, then close window.

Seriously, there is not enough information to give you an answer. Does the window work with the passenger switch? With the driver's switch?

We could give you ideas all day, but accurate problem analysis requires more information...
