Should Nissan redesign the front bumper?

Nissan has done a wonderful job at designing the new 370Z, but Im not too sure if I like the fangs on the front bumper. I see many folks either blacking out the fangs or changing the bumper. What do you guys think?

Agreed. This has been complained about before the Z even hit the showroom floors.

Nissan will change the bumper in a couple years and most likely will get rid of the fangs. The fangs won't prevent someone from buying the z, because it's a small part of the car. I don't care for the fangs.

The Schnoz establishes the car's personality. The fact that we call them "Fangs" implies a certain amount of aggressiveness which suits the car quite nicely.

Whenever a manufacturer does a personality change with the nose there are always a certain number of naysayers. Look at Audi a few years back when they went to that big grill. Everyone whined, now it is a signature of the marque..

I remember all the flack over Audi and the big grill..... now it's cool.

I like the fangs. That being said, if they weren't there I would still own the 370Z.

Personally I think the fangs are great - makes the car look as agressive as it already is. The NISMO spoiler makes it look like a big smilie face - the chicks might dig that but I don't..... hey... maybe the NISMO should come with those teddy bear mags from Ronal

I like the fangs, but a nice vinyl black overlay helps keep the fangs and create the illusion of them not being on the car.
