16 DRL lite out on one side
 
2016 Z, one side of DRLs is out,,searched but not finding much,,,is it a bulb? how do i get to it..

They have to be cut open.

once i cut it open is there individual bulbs? gets complicated and i say the heck with it

I'm not sure. I had mine modded that's the only reason I knew they had to be cut open. I'll check with my lighting guy.
Are you saying that one of the drl's isn't working at all?

If one side is not working at all, I suspect a wiring/relay problem.

Swap the DRLs (move left one to right side and vice versa). If the problem moves to the other side, then it's the DRL. If problem stays on same side, it's wiring.

FSM (link in sig) might be of some help.

yes the entire passengerr side, im assuming that there is 1 bulp per side,,,i even checked Utube and nothing there,,,cant believe noone hasnt had this problem

Have you tried moving the drivers side to the passenger side to verify it's the actual light and not a wiring issue as suggested by southark370z?

looks like the front wheel has to come off, remove the wheel well liner and its buried in there...too much of a Pita for me...Im thinking of trading/selling it this spring,most likely going back to Por 997.2 turbo S this time.. Im 70 and its do it now or never,im cashing out of the stock market and enjoy some of my money..:}
