Default NISMO 370z car cover?

Hi, just bought #196 Silver Nismo-Edition and am noticing a large lacking of OEM products for it...such as a Car Cover.

Has anyone had snug-fit covers "made" anywhere before for a Z? If so, I could use a couple referrals. And yes, I know there are a variety of "custom" car-cover companies...but I'd like to order one from a company that someone's had experience with in the past.

Second question...how many 370z owners are headed to the Z Car Convention in Nashville?

Thanks

I made a car cover part of the deal when I bought my Z, the dealer got me a cover but it was for the standard Z so obviously it didn't fit because of the spoiler, I ran it back to them and they are now talking to nismo to find out if nissan has a cover that will fit the Nismo Z.

Covercraft is my choice for covers, but they have not made a custom fitted cover for the 370Z NISMO yet. So I went with Coverking, I don't know of anyother choice right now. Coverking has both indoor and outdoor covers. They make good covers. They have very good reviews and customer ratings. Mine will be here Monday, if I have any issues I will post back to this thread. I went with the Coverking Coverbond 5 Car Cover because my car is under cover and just need good indoor protection. But it can be used outdoors too. I wanted something better than just a dust cover.

After a bit of research, I ordered a cover from customcarcovers.com - a 4-ply "dent-resistant" material (thick apparently) and will report fit and quality when it arrives. They state they have a NISMO 370z cover template with mirror-pockets. Stay tuned.

Exclamation oem now available!!!

Hi Fellas,
I hate to revive the dead here but I just ordered what I hope is the damn OEM cover for the NISMO Z. I went ahead and spoke with ray at the nismo shop, after checking with the some of the sponsors on this board of course, and was quoted $200 and a 5 day transfer wait. Anyways, I have not confirmed if it is or isnt, but i will post next week when I go pick it up. FYI, if anybody is interested, here's the link The Nismo Shop : West Covina Nissan : Nissan Vehicle Cover Nismo 370z if your're looking to go the same route. Speaking from experience, I had one on my 05 SER and the things are tough! It made it through some rain and 3 years of living next to a dirt hill in the mountains. Solid investment though.

"OEM" car covers are actually privately made by Cover King. There are two part numbers...run a quick search, I had posted the part numbers #'s.

Default Here at last

Allright seeing as I have not seen any car cover photos here during my quick seach, I took the liberty of posting my cover pics up. I can say without a doubt, this is the best $200 bucks I have spent in protecting the exterior/interior of the car. I noticed coverking is actually offering these at a higher price than the dealer. If youre wondering, You get the cover and a carrying bag which are both respectively marked "nismo". Absolutely amazing fit on the vehicle itself as evidenced by the photos.

I went with the indoor OEM nismo black satin cover, the thing fits like a glove. One of the best covers I've seen, got it in 4 days from when the dealer ordered it for me.

with these car covers does the car have to be completly dustless for it not to create swirlmarks?

With my couple weeks of experience, I could say for certain the outdoor cover will not cause swirlies. It isnt a bad idea to have the car completely clean when throwing the cover on, but a car duster swipe before hand couldnt hurt either. I know the indoor material is way different than the outdoor one so i couldnt comment there.
