Door Sills
 

Does anyone know if the touring door sills are different than the base ones? I have seen some pictures of sills that have a silver Z on them instead of black, but from what I have seen, they are all black unless you get the illuminated set. I can't find anything conclusive. Any ideas?

the Illuminated Kick Plates are an option on all of the Zs.

Woo, white light is nice. Mine illuminates amber and not the biggest fan but oh well.

yes, but ive seen pictures that have the regular black sill with a silver Z logo, where does that come from, or is it custom of some type.

Yes the touring come with the silver Z. I changed mine out for the illuminated ones so I have a set sitting around if anyone is interested.

ah, ok cool, now to decide between those and the illuminated ones. but if im already spending the money, i may as well get the illuminated ones!

Cjanik has some custom modified kickplates with different color "Z"s, hit him up if you want something unique. Got mine in white.

The plastic ones looks real cheap in the base model, I got the dealer to put in the iluminated ones for free.

I need to do this. How much hassle was it to do the install?

i agree 100%, its freekin cheese...

I thought it was going to be a pain to run the wiring but really it wasn't bad. I just used a metal coat hanger to run the wire from passenger to driver side.
