Default door out of alignment?

I just noticed today that my passenger door appears to be out of alignment or something. from the interior, there is a much bigger gap between the door panel and the dashboard when comparing it to the driver side. also, on the exterior, where the top of the door meets the roof line at the rear my door is about 1/8" higher than the roof. the driver side is flush there. anyone have something like this also? it's somewhat shocking that this would make it through Nissan like this...

If you can, cal you take some pics? Otherwise, definitely take it to the dealership. No reason you should have to do it if it's their issue.

here are some quick pics... you'll notice the driver side roof compared to the passenger side. I didn't get a shot of the driver side door panel area, but the gap is much tighter.

The dealer can fix the exterior problem but they may end up scratching up your car or more. I would leave it alone.

It's possible that the clips in the A pillars are not properly in there. Either that or the pillars are simple cut short. Mine are like this on both sides (exterior).. even before pick up. I looked at the other 370s and they looked relatively similar so I thought this was normal and not a huge deal. If you're really worried about the alignment then go ahead and bring it to the dealership. The gap on the outside is not the door itself but definitely the A pillars. If they are nice enough, just have them replace it with one that sits flush and provides the same gap as the one you have on the other side. There are a few clips that pops out when you pull (please be gentle so you don't break the pods that the clips hook into) and the pillar slides out in the front. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
