Speed, yeah... still requires drilling. And, that definitely sux, but at least the drilling is from the underside of the "bumper". I thought long and hard (teehee) about the Stillen or similar tow hook solution, but none of them allow for enough offset to get the plate completely centered. I just don't care for the asymmetric look. Also, there is some sort of small radiator (A/C maybe?) in front of my main radiator that the plate would completely block. That had me worried.

I thought about using an assortment of pipe fittings to create a tow hook adapter that would cross over from the side to the middle of the car behind the grill and then bend back out to the front; however, I was worried about it looking a bit janky.

So in the end, I'm going to the pull the trigger with Skene. I'll post pics of my Nismo when completed.

Still say not relevant to this thread...

Anyway, I like the skene but don't want to drill into the bottom of the plastic area either, trying to come up with something similar but upside down, on the bottom of the front, with the lower plate edge level with the sport spoiler.

That way my plate hits the curb first if I get too close

Default Installed on the Nismo

Finally got my plates from the dealer. Here's some shots of it installed. Very easy. I like the way the current placement looks... a bit lower than normal, but I do worry about the moment forces wind will place on the plate. The brackets are attached with two face padded sticky tape and a single self threaded screw. I may end up moving the plate up so that the wind forces will be more evenly distributed. ...and or using two more screws. We'll see. One nice thing about this setup and the fact that our state's new license plates are rather thin is that the plate actually matches the curvature of the cars nose

I would def add more screws to that, or use a nut and bolt. A single Self tapping screw and tape won't hold well with that little surface area for the tape to attach.
