Sparco QRT-R Series seat and Pro Car Innovations Seat Mounts
Super excited for these. Just placed my order on Frsport.com. Was able to knock ~$500 off a pair of these with the Labor Day discount code and “QRTME” so I’m making this post to document and review these when they arrive. Also bought some pro-car innovation 370z specific seat mounts through them but sadly no discounts on them .
Also, if you are inclined to buy these seats or anything else; help a brother out and use my affiliate link! https://frsport.com?afmc=6o Here’s the link to Sparco’s page for more information - https://www.sparcousa.com/qrt-r :tiphat: |

I almost bought those seats, but ended up getting Racetechs due to availability at the time (still weren't released yet).
Definitely curious on what I missed out on :) |
Update- the seats are in stock but my pro-car innovation seats mounts are out of stock and will take 3-4 weeks for production...

Measurements are at the base and at the widest point at the shoulders. Expecting seat brackets to arrive early October |
Any update on this install?

Brackets finally came in and I installed them last week. Just need to get pictures.
These seats will fit without hitting the door panel. Weight with pro car innovations bracket fully assembled on a crappy bathroom scale was 25lbs. Stock base model seat was at 45lbs. On the same scale for reference. Pro car innovations mounts fit perfect and didn’t require any modifications and have a spot to mount the factory seat belt buckle. Seat mounts have 4 different configurations. I have mine set at wide forward. The passenger seat is wide rearward. I’m 5’9” and I have plenty of head room. Helmet will be no problem. I weigh about 155-160 with a 32” waist and fit the seats pretty well. I could be more snug in them as there is some space to wiggle but with a heavy jacket or maybe a race suit I’m sure it would be a perfect fit. That being said they hold me very well. The butt pad and shoulder bolster material have little rubber dots on them that aid in grip. I can get in and out without too much trouble even without a quick release steering wheel. The shoulder strap openings are right at my shoulder height for whenever I upgrade to a harness. Seats are comfortable. I haven’t been in them for a long road trip or anything yet so I will revisit this later. Potential cons: Could use some lumbar support for long trip. May or may not be an issue. It does have some padding there but more would be nice. Price. If I didn’t get such a good deal on these I probably wouldn’t have gotten them. Seat belt buckle location would benefit from a seat belt extender since it is hard to get to. Not a big deal but still an inconvenience. Shoulder bolsters I feel are pretty aggressive. Not uncomfortable to me but I thought I should mention. Just a matter of opinion. These seats were made to fit in smaller chassis for medium to large/taller people and I think they hit the mark. My friend got a pair for his s14 and he is 6’1” ~185-190lbs and fits these seats for reference. I believe I could run sliders with this seat and still have headroom for myself but I don’t want sliders so use this information as you please. I will update this post with any other thoughts and pictures as I get them. |
They look great! I finally bought this seat as well, but will be installing it with a Low Down Buddy Club seat rail. This will be paired up with a 6-point harness and welded in rear cage this off season.
