Opinions, hit a piece of tire tread

Hit a nice chunk of semi truck tire tread on the freeway...

haven't had it checked anywhere yet....any ideas if this is something that would be repaired, or if the entire nose would be replaced? I imagine I could just pop that out....but....? looks like the light got a little dinged too.

My brother hit a curb with his beater and ended up with the same thing you got going on. I fixed it with a Harbor Freight heat gun and touch up paint for a quickie fix. If it were mine, I’d be talking to a few body shops and have it done right. We can’t have injured Z’s running around...lol. Good luck!

That's very repairable.

Looks very repairable.Do not spent money for new front bumper that would need to be painted.

Hard to see all the damage.Take to body shop and fix it right.
Some body shops are much better than others.

Do not know labor cost in your part of country.

I would guess between $800 - $1,200 depending on what shop you use.

Make sure they do a good job of blending paint with the rest of the car.
