2015 Nissan 370Z Parking sensor removal question
Hey all!
Im about to put my Z into the shop for a few days to get my new rear aftermarket bumper put on however they asked me a question I wasnt sure of so I figured Id ask here. He's wondering if we remove the rear parking sensors is there a fuse or something we need to pull also. He's worried its going to come up with a fault code or something every time I start the car :/ Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
2015 Nissan 370Z Parking sensor removal question
Unless it’s different in Australia..........What rear parking sensors? There are no rear parking sensors. Are you referring to the rear camera? If so, then no you won’t get any error pop ups if it’s unplugged.

Yes there's a parking sensor for 370z, front and rear, aftermarket or OEM.

If it's OEM, fuse location should be in Owner's Manual.
Edit: If you don't have an OM, you can download a PDF from Nissan's web site. |
Z's have no parking sensors. LOL. Some, do have a backup camera.

I have a '15... what's a parking sensor??? |
US market loses out on the fog light, rear wiper, and apparently parking sensor, probably among other things.
:^/ |
Can't do anything about the wiper or sensors but I now have a working fog light thanks to the Z Store. Their wiring harness was a little pricey but the install was easy enough. The switch fills that annoying blank space between the two seat warmer switches in the center console (I say it's annoying but I've seen switch blanks in cars that were far more expensive cars than a Z). The fog light goes off automatically if I forget and leave it on.
Instead of parking sensors I have front and rear cameras. Sadly, I still have to brush the snow off the rear window by hand. |
