Has anyone given the thought to use 3M VHB on the vents vice rivets and epoxy? I can't think of many issues other than the possibility of a slight spacing

Has anyone given the thought to use 3M VHB on the vents vice rivets and epoxy? I can't think of many issues other than the possibility of a slight spacing between the fender and the vent. I was looking at 3M VHB #4618 that has a thickness of .64mm.
