So small update, at the request of a friend on here I put a few of my passenger side progress pictures in a public album on my profile. Check them out if you want an idea of what you’ll go through.

I plan to put together a DIY next week highlighting the following:

-Basic install with things I personally ran into.
-My version of cutting the fender liner with optional adding mesh to protect the vent from debris
-tools I used
-many photos to document the whole thing.

I don’t really plan to go down to the nut and bolt level as this isn’t something simple so I’ll make an assumption that a basic understand of finding clips and bolts is a skill the reader will have. Anyone want to see anything else?

I don't think so. But I don't think you would get the same pricing. Get in contact with them to make sure.

I am not doubting the functionality of these - i'm sure they work

however

from an aesthetic standpoint, the large black "frame" that actually surround the vents and mount to the fender are kinda too much for me

Is there room to mount these on the BACK of the fender?

again - purely for the appearance

Could always paint the frame... Unless you meant the actual frame itself is what's bothering you?

I can think of a few ways to fix that so I'm sure any decent bodyshop can make it sit flush with the fender so its all smooth with no borders sticking out, might involve painting the entire fenders but i think would look soo dam good it all flush.

Hi All,

This is Kevin here. Apologize for the delayed update.

We found a way to produced the 3D templates for Fender Vents. We really appreciate the pre-order customers so they will be included with the order. The first batch of Qty: 15 fender vents are all completed and just waiting for the templates to be made (which should take roughly 12-15 days additional production time days. Thank you for all the support!
