I love the big wing styles of the chassis mount wings but don’t like the prices! What’s everyone’s thoughts on this? IMG_2905.JPG Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ebay trash
and your stock body Z with a GT style wing is 1990's era ricer crap: if you wanna rock a GT wing you gotta get to this level (street) or this level (track) and talk Voltex, Ings, APR, or the chassis mount styles

If you need the additional downforce for a forced induction track car the quality ones listed above would be good. For the street, not gonna happen. It draws all the wrong attention. If you are NA and run one of these, I would consider it RICER. I know I will need one but I won't be getting one. LOL

Spend more money now to be happier later and decrease the chance of spending more money later and being unhappy with your initial purchase. I've seen a lot of people recently say that whatever you do, do it fully. I went with the Texas Style Drifter (or Duckbill, Texas looks smaller imo). It's a bump from the stock or would be stock if so equipped and not over the top and fits the lines of the body nicely. Just kinda sucks to install

IMHO I'm not a fan of those.
But I wanted to voice my opinion since I just got my nismo style high top wing installed and I LOVE it. It looks similar to the 2013 factory nismo wing, but without the center brace and I think it's a bit wider. Here's some pictures: https://imgur.com/a/XrvJeuJ Total was 350 bucks, from thespoilercompany on ebay. Fully painted to what you want. Quality is about a 9 out of 10. The paint looks great and matches really well. Fitment is about an 8 out of 10. Install difficulty is an 8 out of 10. The way the wing's mounting holes are setup you need to drill extra holes in the bottom of the trunk lid to get around a secondary structural plate inside the truck deck. I originally installed it with just 2 of the 4 bolts, but it was wobbly and didn't fit right. After struggling to get the 2 other more difficult bolts in, the fitment got significantly better and was 100% secure. There's a gap above the third brake light, but it doesn't bother me since you can't see it. Unless you're looking up from the license plate area. The company that owns thespoilercompanys assets (DAR Spoilers) was a pleasure to work with. They sent me extra hardware + 3m Tape after I mentioned I only had two of the 4 bolts needed. AND when I called the DAR phone # for questions they were super happy to help regarding the remaining two bolts that were difficult to get secured. Last edited by Ghh0st; 05-10-2018 at 08:22 AM. a little late to the thread but I tried it first hand, I didn't know what brand it was, I wanted to see how the car will feel with more downforce at the back, and this was the only option I could borrow from a friend.
To make it short, it didn't help a lot, I got a slight drop in my top speed at track (around 3 mph drop compared to oem spoiler), which means it provides a little downforce but not to the extent that you feel it in turns. I returned the oem spoiler and will get some proper aero in future. The only good side, it goes well with car lines. AlWakRa 370z's Journal - PW from Qatar
