CF Front Bumper

09 10 Nissan 370z Oem Carbon Fiber Bumper:eBay Motors (item 320466731096 end time Jan-23-10 13:42:20 PST)

Interesting - looks pretty good, but not sure if I would have molded in the lower front spoiler - will probably scrape that easily. Not personally interested, but has anyone made a purchase?

Kidcane 12-25-2009 05:31 PM

Thats cheap! I would stay away.

RCZ 12-25-2009 05:35 PM

$1000 shipped is cheap? Nah thats not THAT cheap.

Kidcane 12-25-2009 05:38 PM

For quality carbon, an entire front should be more.

chuckd05 12-25-2009 09:10 PM

the added on spoiler portion would get killed in my driveway especially on a lowered car

spearfish25 12-25-2009 09:28 PM

That front lip would be dog meat in about a week.

Silver mesh grille? :shakes head:

The quality of the weave is Horrible by the way! I would steer clear...

It looks like a 2x2 weave, how can you tell...

bullitt5897 12-26-2009 11:15 AM

expand the image larger and you will see the lines and all the imperfections in the weave. This product definitely looks either rushed or prototyped. I am judging this by the lack of care to ensure that the weave and multiple pieces of Carbon Fiber line up correctly.

Other than the price.. If the indentation for the logo was not included.. might possibly be a good buy.

Wow the 370z has so much aftermarket support. My Celica took years before aftermarket headlights were invented. This is a complete CF bumper geez. I had CF fenders and it was a pain to drive around. Imagine scraping or hitting something with this thing. Harder to repair than urethane and fiberglass. Yikes. Probably okay if you don't care and go to the track but for 1 grand better off using it for something else.

370Zsteve 12-28-2009 08:11 AM

How can they call this an OEM bumper :shakes head:

kenchan 12-28-2009 12:39 PM

dont you hate when companies name their company OEM? you do a search and it turns up all sorts of pos parts by "OEM." :D hahaha.

NYBladeZ 12-29-2009 03:04 PM

went to look at the piece first hand...the chin spoiler is a separate piece and I personally think it looks great. It's one piece of cf not a bunch put together, thank God

jmlenz 12-29-2009 05:37 PM

personally - If I spend a grand on a new bumper it better look different than the factory bumper (assume you paint the CF). How much weight could you possibly save from urethane --> CF? a couple pounds at best

just to give it some perspective our poly urethane front fascia's usually average about 8-10 pounds...
