STILLEN 370Z Urethane Fascia - Sneak Peek - In Development
We wanted to give you a sneak peek at the 370Z fascia that we've been working on, and describe some of the planned features of this new piece.
As always this front fascia will be constructed out of durable polyurethane. Polyurethane is definitely a more expensive process when it comes to building the molds and the machinery required but the durability, quality, and fit and finish of the final products are by far superior. When we sat down to discuss the concepts of the fascia the number one thing we all agreed on was function. This fascia needed to supply as much air as possible to some of the key components of the car. Some of those considerations were, STILLEN Gen 3 Intakes, intercooler systems, additional coolers, possible brake cooling. Another hot topic were the O.E. fangs. Some people love them, some people hate them, but without question they are a very distinct feature on the car. To please everyone and again, improve functionality we are going to make a modular piece that will attach to the inside of the center opening and will resemble the O.E. fang pieces as well function as brake ducts. These pieces will be available options for people who want to add them later on but will not be included in the main kit. So, here are the photos, we hope you enjoy, and as always your feedback is welcomed! |

It's tough to visualize sometimes when products are in this stage of rawness, and not sure these pictures really give a good impression, but wanted to post them rather than wait.

I am liking it, seems like a clean, not overstated design, does look a little high for a bumper, but then again might just be the picture, one thing I hope is that the bumper, matches and is at the same height of any sideskirts you guys make so it flows, unlike other kits where the sideskirts are lower then the front bumper.

As you can see this has been modeled off of the factory fascia so it is the same height as factory. We will definitely be building the rockers to match this ride height.

Interesting. I'll have to see how the grill opening is 'dressed' and would want to do the brake cooling kit (assuming there will be one) at the same time. Otherwise those huge vents just dead end and look silly. I wish the line of the headlights was carried down through the lateral borders of the front grill. Maybe the fang insert will do just that.

Hmm, not sure. I was hoping for just a bolt on lower lip spoiler in urethane.

In comparison to the factory nose this is actually anch or so longer. Also we did kick around the idea of smaller ducts (which are what's behind the cardboard) and they just looked too wimpy. Also the primary goal is increasing the amount of air through the car and as someone mentioned those large openings on the sides are perfect for additional coolers .
