Has anyone tried to wire the cruise control to aftermarket buttons? I would really like to replace my steering wheel but I dont want to lose my cruise for roadtrips.

Cruise Control Relocation
Has anyone tried to wire the cruise control to aftermarket buttons? I would really like to replace my steering wheel but I dont want to lose my cruise for roadtrips. I would assume they are wired through the stock wheel harness and there isnt some interface built into the stock wheel to decode the inputs.
I would either put the cruise in the 3 blank switch location but i would lose my jimmy rigged phone holder or else cut out some of the lower half of the dash to the right of the wheel and put switches and buttons there. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk |

The FSM (link in my sig) will have wiring diagrams, plus wire colors, etc.
