Wrapping interior trim in something other than carbon fibre?

So I was thinking about wrapping a few plastic pieces in my car in 3m di noc carbon, the plastic around door handles, window switches, maybe around radio and hvac (base sport), but then I thought maybe others have used something other than carbon wrap for those pieces and would love some shared pics of work done. Piano Black might be nice and simple for instance. Or a black or grey metal looking surface. Just some ideas for doing something other than carbon fiber would be great !
