Or raising the likelihood of a rear end accident, over looks, IMO. I've been rear ended in my Z already without adding to it. The lights are red and reflective for a reason.

In my opinion, however, I'd never blatantly give law enforcement a justifiable reason to pull me over and ruin my day.

They'll do it anyway and lie that you were doing something you weren't. Been there, done that and helped fund the county coffers.

With a method of light painting just to tone down the color mine are still red and reflecting. Cleared over and wax with the body, no tint to worry about peeling, facing etc.
