Caliper Cover debacle - any ideas?

If you enjoy working on your car yourself, then it might be worth it to find someone local that will let you use their tools. Especially if you aren't planning

How much would you charge to ship those sweet covers to 33764?

Ha, I'll pay someone to take them off my hands. I looked them up, someone paid $200 for those bad boys.

Guys, I have tools, I do work on my own cars, I just didn't feel like going through the hassle.

I get it, the overwhelming response, suck it up and do it anyway.

For the record, I would consider a jack a tool ... if you have tools, then you just need to borrow a jack (and maybe jack stands?).

I don't get why anyone cares what others think anyway. If the hassle of taking your wheels off is more than the caliper covers bother you, then don't bother. It's your car and your time

Why continue to chime in after I admitted defeat? All I asked for was a quick fix without taking the wheels off. I get it, there is none, I'm over it. Just because I don't own a jack, doesn't mean I don't have tools. I live in an apt complex and I use ramps whenever I need to get under the car. I've owned jacks before, I just don't have one now.

I definitely will pick and choose what questions I ask on here.

"A redeeming quality, especially one that compensates for one's shortcomings."

"A quality that makes up for other generally negative characteristics; redeeming feature."

Example: Think if someone mentioned your significant other and said, "man, her butt is huge." Then I came in to defend her and said, "yeah, but her butt is her only saving grace." That would surely connotate she has no other redeemable aesthetic qualities minus her huge butt. Would you thank me for compliments towards her?
I may have used the wrong phrase. English is not my first language, thanks for the lesson. If you want my apology, you have it.

Dang, I'm impressed. That's a standup thing to do. I doubt many people would've responded like that.

Thank you

Another quick example would be yourself perhaps. One could mention you are a huge tool for trolling posts and sneaking in off the topic insults rather than helping. Perhaps wanker could then come to your rescue and say, "wait, he does have a cool car, that's his only saving grace." Basically meaning you are a tool minus having a cool car (if you didn't pick up on that). And really you didn't design the car, or build it, or have any hand in creating it, so you're basically a tool that picked a cool car.

If you're going to be a hater, may as well stand by it. If not admit fault, and apologize, or lastly find another post to troll. I believe wanker was being sarcastic and knocking the wing. How about you post up some photos of your car so we can all chime in our opinions. I doubt every car you've ever bought rolled off the lot looking sweet.

Thanks everyone else for the help. It's not that I'm terrified of taking the wheels off, I just bought the car and don't feel like taking it apart right away with a lesser jack and no stands. I was just curious if anyone had ideas. I owned a Z prior for 4 years and did plenty of work on it. I'll be getting some rear tires soon, so I'll just wait until then. I'm already aware the covers are frowned upon, that's why I started this post.
Relax man. We were just having a little fun at your expense.
