I am having problems with my convertible windows that are supposed to come down about a quarter of an inch and then go back up when the door is opened

370z convertible windows
I am having problems with my convertible windows that are supposed to come down about a quarter of an inch and then go back up when the door is opened and closed but it's not doing that. Any suggestions as to what that could be?
