Default "Warning" Carbon Fiber Z emblems "DO NOT FIT"

The Carbon Fiber Z emblems I bought from The Z Store would not fit until I ground and filled them down. I was not happy to say the least. After spending the time taking off the Nissan emblems and prepping the car for the new emblems, it was very disappointing when they were way too big to fit inside the recessed area for the emblem. After about an hour with a fine stone grinding wheel and a file they fit. Also, one of the emblems had two tiny chips appear after filling. I assume from air bubbles within the mould. So I had to wet sand the chips then polish them to make it acceptable.

I am happy with the end result, but not happy with the process needed to achieve the result. These emblems should have fit perfectly out of the box for the price I paid for them. I will try post some pics tomorrow. I posted this so others would know what to expect if they order these emblems, not to discredit the vendor.
