Default Gauge Pillar

Has anyone made a gauge pillar the 370z yet? I just bought a nitrous kit and im going to be buying a wideband so i need to find a spot for a wideband and presure gauge. If no, then will a gauge pillar from the 350z, fit the 370z?

I've seen a few guys replace the stock gauges off the dash with Boost and nitro gauges.

didnt really wanna do that...i like the gauges. I guess i could get rid of the volt gauge but the clock and oil temp i always use. Will a gauge pillar ment for the 350 fit on the 370?

I tried to look up pics to see if they fit but can't find anything.

That said, bump for a good question..I'm curious to know myself.

Could just buy a set and return them if they don't fit. I'd do it but I dont have a SC or Turbo yet so don't need the extra pods.

Let me know if you have any luck bro. Would be cool to get someone to run them in Carbon Fiber too.

This is a good question. We have some guage pods for the 350 in the shop. I'll grab one tomorrow and test fit it in our project z.

I'll buy one too and see if John can replicate it in CF

Unfortunately they are not even close. The 350 A pillar pods are about an inch and a half too long.

I will talk with our pod guys and see what it would take to get something turned aroudn quickly.

Well that sucks that it doesnt fit. That would be great if you can come up with something. I'm still trying to figure out where i want all my stuff (wideband, presure gauge, activation switch and purge button...trying to keep it clean.

I might not be visualizing what you're doing correctly, but is having a digital setup or any setup of some sort inside the box (where the nav would be...assuming you don't have nav) not an option?

He's just talking about the pod set up on the left pillar. If you didnt have Nav I suppose that compartment would work but I would rather use that pillar as well as the glovebox holds my ipod and phone.

To each their own, would be cool to have the space available for those that want some extra gauges though..

I have talked with our pod guys and they are going to look into it. I should know more in the next day or two. I have also offered up our car as a test bed if they need one to work off of since we will want guages anyways for the supercharger and what not. So, I should know more in the next couple of days.

For those interested in CF pods I have a company currently making them for us right now for the 350's. I could also talk with them about making them for the 370's if there is sufficient demand? They are an overlay design so they just go over your factory pillar which makes installation a bit easier but does require drilling into your factory pillars.

I'm sure there would be some interest. I know some of the more hardcore guys would rather have replacements. To make it cosmetically correct it would be ideal to have the other side in Carbon too (without pods obviously) but perhaps a version for both to help the guys that drive on the correct side of the car

If you get serious about it, throw out a Group buy and we'll help spread the word. Figure you'd get the Nitrous, Supercharger and Turbo guys right off the bat.

Thanks man, cool of you to react so quickly.
