So far I've just been using the FSM when I get stuck to remove basic things but not a lot on information on if the car will run once I remove all the wires lol

My question right now would be do I just cut the wires I don't want ? They are so tangled I don't see another way

I know I in bolted a ground and the didn't start anymore so I'm worried that cutting these wires I'll basically cause the same CAN COMMUNICATION problem I had with the grounds once theirs no wires at all

Dude

Unless you know what you are doing, just chopping the wiring is bound to cause all sorts of CAN-related issues as the Nissan ECU and Body Computer throw hissy-fits at the slightest provocation.

Question: Are you ever going to return this to a road car for sale. If so, live with the extra weight, if not, you have some options.

These are all based on an aftermarket ECU and it depends then on how much OEM stuff you want to retain (ABS for one, do you want the ECU to implement traction control and launch control for another, do you want flat shift, an over-rev button and some other stuff).

Provide an answer to the question and maybe we can help.

yeah I understand that it can cause can communication issues that's why I'm asking if anybody has any tips the car is completely gutted I've already disabled traction control and abs as well as removed all the airbags carpet ac radio heater core and caged the vehicle I'm mainly just cleaning up all the useless connectors that went to speakers and airbags and so far It's gone well it just seems like theirs a ton of wires left and I just wanted to make it as clean as possible

I suggest to remove all the wiring, get a electrical schematic and make a new harness of what you want.

:iagree: That will be the cleanest way. The FSM should have all the information you need.
