Instead of painting roof black...

Has anyone thought about doing this Sunline Racing - Carbon Roof Cover "Instead of painting roof black..." I kind of like it. Does this just get taped on or how

Has anyone thought about doing this Sunline Racing - Carbon Roof Cover "Instead of painting roof black..." I kind of like it. Does this just get taped on or how does this work??? I like the idea of being abe to take it off if I wanted. What do yall think???

That is UNREASONABLY expensive... 900 for that crap no thanks... I know a person in CA who has SHEETS upon sheets of different vinyl - he has white / black and every kind of CF too ... he covered my buddys white Gs roof for 100 bucks (ish)... its matte black and looks sick... im sure he would do the CF top for about 200... what a ripoff

Well this is a 100% real jdm part thats why it cost so much, I also would not pay this much for the roof cover! But im sure someone can make it for much cheaper here in the states : )

well - you can just get a piece of vinyl that costs 100 installed over the roof - probably will add less weight than this and cost a LOT less...

There's a carbon fiber vinyl that can be installed for half that. I saw a Genesis coupe with it, and it looked ok. I used the vinyl to wrap mirror covers, b-pillars and the fuel door on a showroom car, I thought the roof was a bit much, but that's because I need to sell it or eat it as a dealer.
