I took the fat washer out of the OEM belt and used it. Fits perfect.

I see from the picture you removed your oem seat belts. I'm wondering, when you removed the retractors, what did you do with the sensor cable? Are you getting an airbag warning without the retractors?

Are you completely confident that mounting to the stock hollow cross brace is going to hold you in your seat safely? The seat belt mounting holes are meant to restrain you but that rear cross brace was engineered to match its name.

At most I trust the MA Motorsports harness bar for a street application since they actually mount frame/body bolt. I don't like to risk safety.

Good luck!

That stock cross bar WILL NOT hold you! It's just thin sheet aluminum tube that will crumple with about 15 lbs of force. I have one sitting in my attic. I replaced with with a Robbyspec bar.

Rusty, he's just hooking a harness bar the the points where the upper seatbelt mounts are. It's a pretty reasonable setup in that respect, the bar is pretty sturdy looking. For me I wouldn't use any harness with out a helmet and hans, to high of a risk of you snapping your spine and becoming paralyzed or dead since there is no give with a harness like there is with a OEM seat belt. But each to his own.

I just put a warning out. Having replaced that aluminum piece of bling with a different bar. I know how it's made, and how it's mounted. I just don't want anyone to trust their life with it.

I've gotten into 2 wrecks, 1 front end and 1 back end. Both times I was using Schroth 4 point harnesses and never had an issue. The stock brace bar held just fine even with 2 180 lb people

Who are you referring to? There is no mention of anyone mounting anything to the stock cross brace in this thread..
