VIN# on rear bumper, important?
So I scored a free rear bumper on craigslist... and I want to attempt shaving the rear emblem and repainting myself.... I noticed the VIN# is stamped on it behind where the license plate goes.
How big of a deal is it have a non-matching VIN on a bumper? I'd think it wouldn't matter at all but maybe someone smarter than me knows of some impact I am not thinking of.
