They would have had to do it in 3 pieces, the seams would have shown. I also wanted to do something different.

Ditto. I like the carbon waaay too much. It's like dangling keys in front of a baby. I just staaare at it.

My car is silver (just had the door handles painted body color also) with black wheels, black emblems and limo tinted windows. I wanted a little red accent to match the sport brake calipers. I'm over the carbon fiber look. Don't get me wrong, it looks good but everyone is doing it.

I ordered mine on Sept. 29th and they just showed up this past Saturday (Dec.9). As my luck would have it, a foot of snow also showed up so hopefully I'll be able to get them installed next weekend.
