I sent an email to Japanparts site and there is a way to add the extra options like R type add on and 500s mirror type. Just FYI

Japan parts will allow both. They mentioned to include you want the extra options and they will request the extra cost thru PayPal. Once I buy I will verify the process.

I was able to add the r type option from rhdjapan, it was an $80.00 extra cost. They have been great to deal with, they respond right away to emails (barring the time difference).

Wait, why do people want the Type-R option? isn't that the cap that makes the mirror immovable?
Seems like you'd want adjustment at some point . . . am i missing something?

Maybe i misinterpreted it that then.
If its "locked" as to keep it stable and can be unlocked with whatever screw, then yeah . . great if its "locked" like permanently? i could see a race car doing that but i dunno why a street car ever would
