Carbon fiber wrap opinions

I just had some carbon fiber wrap done and would like to see what you all think. I had the mirrors, door handles, rockers, door sills, spoiler and rear diffuser

If the parts are not really carbon fiber why pretend ? It's like when the two nerds on The Big Bang Theory wore those fake tattoo sleeves to impress some goth chicks.

Looks like a wrap.

I wouldn't have done the skirts.

especially on a car that looks bone stock

i wouldn't do wrap at all. that screams rice (i.e. pointless, cheap shortcut wannabe status)

but whatever, its your car

Some glossy vinyl wrap used very sparingly is okay. Dry looking.... Eh... To each their own. I'm teaching myself carbon fiber skinning so I can move away from vinyl.

Thanks for the input. I wanted to see what the skirts would look like and I agree it's too much. Easy to peel off. The wrap does look a lot much better on the door handles and mirrors than the covers do though. Thanks again.

You can keep the diffuser wrapped as well if you want.

When I get my FI exhaust I'll probably do a real carbon fiber diffuser, until then I'll keep the wrap. Got my rjm clutch pedal today, can't wait to get that installed.

It is a wrap, fake carbon fiber.

If it looks good to you, that's all that counts.

IMO,go with the real thing.

Most owners incl myself have installed ZCF covers stuff.
ZCF uses real CF.
However, they only do flat or slightly curved parts like B=-pillars and inside door barrel covers.

Just my opinion, wraps look like wraps--fake stuff

I don't care for the body matched paint on the mirrors and I wanted to do something with the door handles. I purchased the evo r covers and they look ok but they are still just covers (fake stuff). The wrapped door handles and mirrors came out really nice but I'll probably end up wrapping them in black since everything else on my car is getting blacked out.

Yep . Mirrors look nice. When it starts to bubble & peel from the sun, get rid of it or redo it. Seen a few people leave it on way too long & it looks like
