Did you also use this on the leather on the top of the door cards?

*Hi all. Need dash repaired. Has anyone ever used Fibrenew? Particularly the one in Newport Beach? They're on yelp but no reviews. Are they reputable or a bad investment? If not, any recommendations in Southern Cali to fix dashboard? Got a crack and dent in the dash. Any feedback helpful on Fibrenew or any reputable place to fix dash in socal. Thanks for any help.

Well you can add me to the list here. Just took my car out for it's monthly exercise and noticed my dash has started getting sticky as well. 44k miles and mostly garaged.

No. Thought about it. Still undecided. I have a pair of touring seats needing some love.

Fibrenew quoted me 350.00 to fix dash. Going to look into getting used dash from junkyard or something like eBay. Maybe dash and install could be as much as a fix. Probably will cost more to replace.

That stuff didn't make any difference, I just bought a cover for the dash which turned out less ugly than I thought. I took a peek under the cover a few days ago and it's completely covered in gray dust.
I'm turned off on Nissan over this, they should have taken ownership of the problem. Won't be buying another Nissan anytime soon.

the sticky dash is just terrible.
is the gray dust from the dash cover or the actual dash? Quote:

I wonder if wrapping the dash is a viable option. Just don’t know if the glue would stick as the dash “melts”. I personally hate the look of dash cover, I just can’t stand it.
But then again, during really hot days, the dash literally melted and turned shiny, creating a strong reflection on the windshield, enough to distort my forward vision, hated that even more.

I am sure you'll have all kind of bubbles under the wrap.... the dash cover also covers the speakers on the dash, but probably better than the melted dash.
