Installed USB ports in middle blank switch.

I removed too many parts but wasn't really sure how I wanted to set the wiring.

This is what I installed

I wanted to tap into the wires for the cigarette lighter in the arm rest cubby, but these weren't easy to get to from the e-brake.

Traced the wires to just below the center stack. Thankfully the colors were different. Not sure where the other set goes.

Lots of extra wire with the switch so I just wrapped it up, zip tie, but left enough slack to easily pull the cup holder in the future.

I have that same exact thing in my car and there's one thing that bothers me about it. All the blanks are flat black but the USB thing is gloss black.

I'm going to try to take care of that. Take some old USB connectors and cut off the metal ends, stick them in, then paint. I'll let you know how that goes

wish dere was a nice way to place the phone on the center console.. since there isn't on the Z, i ended up wiring up the USB inside the center console to place my entire iphone inside while playing pandora and stuff.

on other cars they have sliding cup holder covers where you can place ur phone on top of it while hooked up to the HU's USB..
