Matching seats???

Here's a silly question.
Why do the seats not match on our Z's? I'm sure there is a reason, but I just noticed this. Nothing I'm gonna do about it, but it just seems odd.

it's a men balls spacer, while passenger should be a girl so there is no need to!

I can't think of anything else.

p.s. mine are also like that!

I.... I've never even noticed. I'm going to have to look later, I can't be bothered to go look now.

I have had my Z almost five years and have never noticed this. So I walked out to the garage and sure enough, different seats.

The basic answer is that the drivers seat has been designed that way to hold the driver better in place while driving.

Not as nice as the ball warmers built into the seats of Pagani's.

Mine were like that before I swapped them. Didn't really think much of it

Huh, yeah I was thinking about the same line as you.
I came up with maybe it's for your girl to rest her head on those long road trips. If you know what I mean. :rofl2::rock:

My 350z was the same. My assumption was that the drivers seat is designed to hold the driver better in a proper driving position, where as the passenger seat can allow a little more freedom of movement and comfort.

Passengers are optional in these cars.
