Same thing for me, ordered fog pod, was "in stock" on the website. Contacted him, told me it was back order then no other news.

It's important for me to get an ETA for my pod to arrive so I can manage to schedule paint and installation before spring arrive.
Hopfully next week

I hope that's a joke. I've had the same if not worse CS from the Z store. I ordered an "in stock" part from them and then was told it was back ordered with an 8 week lead time. I asked if they would ship the rest of my order without it, and they made me pay an additional $37, it showed up only a week after the rest of the order. Not to mention my SNAFU with them selling me a used intake as new, then ignoring my calls/emails until 6 months later when I called them out on the forum. You can see my build thread for more info on that one, even then their response was pitiful.

Jay may get a week or so behind on his emails, and his shipping kinda sucks because he's in China or Taiwan or something, but I trust him more than those A holes.

Have to agree on the Z store comment.
When I order from them,I do it by phone.
That way they can physically check to see if the
item is in stock. On the EVO-R stuff sold through the Z store,
they get the same run around from Jay.
I've found if the Z store tells you the part will be in stock "in a week",
add another or 2 weeks to that.

For what its worth, from my experience, this is the deal on Jay and the traditional
poor EVO-R service.
All the stuff is made in Taiwan. The plant that makes the parts is a large operation.
Makes carbon fiber pieces for all types of cars. Time has to be booked on their
production line to do rather small runs of Evo-R parts. I believe the amount of parts
is say around 20 units or less depending on the part.
EVO-R oversells, there is out of stock problems for quite some time.
Jay did live in NY and spends time in Taiwan.Evo-R has sold on ebay several times
under a few names.Used to be hyperrev then, west coast customs--something like that.
Don't know if these are still on ebay. Ebay is rather strict on their vendors. You get
bad reviews or poor service, you are out. Does not mean you could not come back under a different name...
Guess some people are just not organized. Or,have to do EVERYTHING their self.

I am fairly certain you are correct on the, "large operation" part, Jay pretty much told me this, plus Evo-R sells parts for a lot of cars, so so it's not like Z parts get a fast track to the front of the line for any reason. I am not sure Evo-R sells their stuff under many names , probably just clones, because Patents are pretty much nonexistent over there..... the company that makes them probably sells them to anyone who orders with worse quality control...

edit small grammar fix...

You are on it!
THATS the problem.
Plus,slamming the door-coming loose.
The area that goes over the A/C vent looks great.
But,the temps-cold&hot will not make the adhesive hold.
TRUST ME.
As I mentioned in a previous post, use of adhesive promoter MAY help in addition of CLEANING the areas to be covered several times with
rubbing alcohol.
All this not gonna be a guarantee.

Got to use the best(more expensive )adhesive to make this puppy work.
The Z guys at ZCF does this.

Like I said you, found you out it's availability. A lot more then Jay does sometimes.

Did they send a bunch of big dudes with knuckle dusters over and made you pay?

you should consider doing this. The weave pattern must be in the same direction to make it look right.

Let me sum up the problem Jay. From what I heard, people ALWAYS get their evo-r product and everyone seems to enjoy the quality and etc....

But each time someone bash about Evo-R, it is always a comminication problem. If you would put a bit more effort into communications, everyone would be happy and your internet reputation would be next to perfect.
