z1 hood struts bulge
 

Hello everyone! I installed z1 hood struts last year and noticed theres tiny bulging happening here on driver's side. I took pictures of my install and if anyone who has done the install themselves could look into them and check if all is good I'd be really thankful :tup: Please don't mind the dust and the icky stuff(previous owner had spilt something and it's yellowish and I haven't cleaned the engine bay yet...), car is hibernating for 2 more months :rolleyes:

Did you trim the plastics and the foam where the struts touches the edge of the brake fluid area?

I notched out the plastic on the covers. Used a dremel to achieve a nice finish.

i stopped using dampers on the Z period. not worth da trouble imho.
