Looking to do OEM Nismo body panels on a 2009 Base w/sport appearance pkg
 

First off gee! Thanks for having me fellas! I am gaining knowledge by the day but have a long way to go. I am really glad to finally have access to this great place of enthusiasts of the 370.

QUESTION: I am getting ready for some body appearance upgrade for my 2009 base with sport appearance pkg. along with an uprev this coming driving season. (Can't wait to get it out of storage as many are in the same boat, I don't winter good cars)

I want to do a NISMO body part upgrade with OEM Nissan parts if possible and am wondering what is the newest year parts I can get on the car (what will work) and what additional parts I might need to get this to work.

Any advice or help I can get to work this out is GREATLY appreciated :)

Try doing a search, ya won't get too far by just asking a question that has been discussed in detail already. If you look further in this section you will come across threads.

What version of Nismo?

I'm sorry to tell you, but the cost to retrofit a Nismo bodykit is generally more expensive than the cost difference of buying a Nismo in the first place. But you can do pretty much whatever you want depending on your wallet. First, you need to figure out which Nismo bodykit you want (2009? 2013? 2015?). Then you need to search for what parts you need (note you might need some additional misc OEM parts for proper fitment). Then you have to source all the parts. Then you have to find a competent shop to do the work.

I just bought every components for front and rear 2015 Nismo conversion on my 2010 base model. You just gotta find a dealership that will get you a great deal on the parts you need.

Go to page 49 and look up comment #734. These parts are the entire list of items for front conversion.

Assuming that is the conversion he wants to do.

To put costs into perspective, here is my total cost of conversion:

Front: $700 for every parts (including under tray and fender liners, which are optional) + $300 paint + $300 LED EVO R DRL (optional) = $1,300

Rear: $450 for every parts + $200 paint = $650

Grand total came out to $1,950. This is not including emblems and badge.

I want to put the newest version of Nismo body on it that it can accomodate.

Thats really not bad, I would think that acceptable. Just wondering how new of a nismo body will fit on the 2009, I would like the get the most updated one I could

I tried the parts finder but it doesn't state which nismo parts in later years that will be able to be mounted on a 2009. This would take someone's knowledge who has actually done it.

2015+ Nismo body parts will have no trouble fitting your 2009 base. Just get all the necessary parts and you'll be fine. In addition, there is no difference between 2015 ~ 2017 Nismo body.

Just order these following parts and you'll be done

For rear conversion:
- HEM22-6GA0H (Rear bumper)
- 85010-6GA0A (Tow hook cover)

For front conversion:
- FBM22-6GA0H (Front bumper)
- 62087-6GA0A (Red piece)
- 62086-6GA0A (Red piece)
- 62077-6GA0B (Moulding)
- 62076-6GA0B (Moulding)
- 62064-6GA0B (Moulding)
- 62064-6GA0A (Moulding)
- 62023-6GA0A (Tow hook cover)
- 63844-6GA0A (Fender liner)
- 63845-6GA0A (Fender liner)
- 75892-6GA0A (Under cover tray)

That's for parts only? Either way, you don't mention anything about several Nismo body kit items like side skirts or spoiler ...

Add more for paint and install. Ultimate cost will come down to how OCD the OP is about his conversion. Note that if the parts are painted from the factory, it is unlikely the color shade will exactly match the color shade of your car. You can pay a competent painter to match your car exactly. Fitment shouldn't be an issue, but that doesn't mean it won't be :twocents:
