Tail Light Strobe Mod

so, i've found tons of info on the EVO-R 4th brake light that can strobe, but I am looking to have both brake lights flash rapidly about 4 times in about half a second then stay solid (third brake light remain unaffected). I did some research and found the perfect module that can do just this. It has two screws that adjust the amount of flashes and how long they last as well.

Anyways, I currently have only one of these units and its enough to make both lights strobe. the only thing i'm having trouble finding info on is where exactly the two tail light harnesses meet so that i can wire the module in so it controls both brake lights.

Below are some screenshots from videos I found of how to take apart the trim in the trunk area (in hopes of finding where the two meet)

Would love to post a DIY for this kind of thing once the weather gets nicer out. If anyone has any wiring details for the tail lights or knows where the wiring harnesses meet up it would help me out a bunch!

I believe the current version of EVO-R fog light is supposed to blink three times and then go solid, not like the previous version that blinked for as long as the break pedal is pressed.

If the back is white, it's version #1, if it's black, it's the current version #2. The smoked lens light only comes in version #1.

Awesome link! deff is helpfull, however what i'm looking for is physically where in our cars do the two harnesses that lead to the tail lights meet up. Hoping that its in the trunk area and easily accessible. That is where I would have to place the module in order for it to control both lights.
