Just another no wait. Fly 1 Duckbill Spoiler Review

I bought the same CF from Fly 1, at Black Friday. Arrived today! Bubble wrap and box marked Fragile! It is a thing of Beauty in person.

I got it about 1 month? Taking stock spoiler off is a task because of the residue.
By the way only the two middle holes line up, outside ones need drilling if you really really want to have the wing pulled down but it is pretty flush without using it.

Not the best pics but here you go. Still waiting to do a proper shoot.

Good job fly1, good product that's worth paying for.

Btw I had this wing cleared a few times to have it less wavy. 3 cost clear, probably overkill.

Good to know. I really didnt want to drill anything. I would like the option convert the z back to stock if i ever needed to.

Did you throw some double sided tape on there?
Would you think there would be a significant different between drilling the other two holes vs double siding with the provided 2 holes?

So the good news is the two holes toward the center on the spoiler go into the stock holes so no drilling is needed!

As far as the outside two, you would have to drill into the trunk. The spoiler fit flush enough so ended up just using double stick tape for the outside area.

Use a washer for the two center bolts with a rubber butyl like sealant so the water doesn't leak in. The other holes were just covered with tape since the spoiler covers all of them. Will post pics in the day time.

Fly1 spoilers fits exceptionally well and am glad the two center bolts lined up perfectly.

there doesnt seem to be that many pictures and reviews for the Fly1motorsport Duckbill spoiler so i thought it would be helpful to make another thread.

Itll help with future searches.

First off, Lohit at Fly1 is exceptionally well with communication and keeping me updated. i had no problems. My carbon spoiler got to me rather quick despite the lead time they mention on the website and i was sent a proper tracking number, etc. Customer service is great.

I took advantage of the black friday sale and got the carbon duckbill as the amuse style is too big for my taste. I coudlnt find any information regarding mounting points, etc so heres some pics. There are 4 mounting points with a threaded nut or something inside.

I agree, Lohit has been awesome. I'm getting the V spec lip in cf sometime this month. I didn't get a wing thru Fly1 because I'm not into the duckbill look..So I'm getting a different wing. However, that duckbill wing looks gorgeous.
