Why are you getting a mere set of Varrstoen for such a nice car?

The ES1's don't come in a 9-inch width, only 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5. I had a set on my GS430 with Supra TT brakes and the 9.5 +22 wouldn't fit; considering the Akebono's on the Z34 are larger I'd suggest the +12 in front. In the rear, you can run either the +12 or +22 but with the latter, the rears will be more sunken in compared to the front.

Aren't the wheels you're looking at heavier and weaker than the exact same size forged wheels that come stock on the Nismo?

Agreed. Run the stock nismo wheels until the tires wear out, while saving up then get volks.

I've been down the varrs. Road and they were fine but thinking back would have saved up for the real deal.

If you just can't wait. 9.5 +12 is the only fitment that clears the akebono. This is a poke fitment. 10.5 +12 will appear more sunk in the rear but the closest match they offer.

My 2 cents

Right, the stock Nismo wheels are an upgrade from the Varrstoens you're looking to buy.
