2 questions about Sunline front lip.

1. Where can i buy the authentic lip from Japan. I tried to google this but I cannot find a result with an authentic seller in Japan, only results from US seller.

US shipping is too much for me

2.
If I buy a 2009-2012 replica, is it possible to have it modified/moulded to fit a 2013+ Z?

Reason for number 2. Is I can buy the 2009-2012 replica front lip directly from here in Aus really cheap, I think only approx $250AUD. I don't mind spending a little bit extra to try and get it fitted on a 2013+.

It may be cheaper than buying from fly1 and paying $500 USD for a fly1 lip and another $650 for shipping.

We don't have any sellers here for a 2013+ lip in Aus.

Answer to #2. Anything can be done for enough money. carlitos_370z had a '09 lip made to fit the newer bumper, but I do not know at what cost. Labour could be cheaper in Puerto Rico.

very nice, but i thought his lip was from fly1. So I thought his was already the 2013+ version.

NVM, I guess it is possible. Next problem is if I could find anyone here in Adelaide, Australia to do it.

How did the wheel search work out?

axmea? 11-22-2016 08:45 PM

You can buy directly from Sunline's website. There's RHDJapan.com or Japanparts.com Also, there is an Aussie distributor JSAI AERO. So many bro.

shadow85 11-22-2016 08:59 PM

Im pretty sure JSAI are replicas. Can't be genuine, $770 AU for full sunline genuine kit, no way

I ended up pulling the trigger on Work S13P. 4 month wait, and HOPE that they will fit.

Sounds like a great plan!:ugh2:

Not as bad as you think.

Just to catch you up.

axmea? 11-22-2016 11:05 PM

The sunline kit is the most common lip kit that is copied out there. Everyone makes it. Save your money by getting a rep especially if you will hack it to fit your '13 but if your heart is set on it, get it from Sunline Racing or the other two I mentioned above.

Here is their site: Sunline Racing Japan

RHD Japan may not have it on their listing but if you send them an email, they will locate it for you and give you a price. I inquired about Weber Sports and asked for pricing when they did not have it on their website. They responded quickly with their prices shipped and had it listed on their website the following day.

Good luck.

they'll fit, he just won't believe us

they might be fitted on his car and he still won't be sure if they fit

everyday, just endlessly worrying about brake clearance

Hey I ordered the wheels already. Will you ever be happy? :happydance:

cooltoy 11-22-2016 11:35 PM

Only when you are happy.

shadow85 11-23-2016 09:23 PM

So i decided I will buy the 2009-2012 SS lip from here:

Z34 370Z : NISSAN Z34 370Z SUNLINE RACING FRONT LIP

And get it molded/fitted to my 2015 Z, hope it will work!!

cooltoy 11-23-2016 10:21 PM

Did you contact Carlos for any install tips?

Memphis370Z 11-24-2016 08:56 AM

There's a lot of "hope" in this thread. Good luck, OP.

shadow85 11-25-2016 11:26 PM

Haha, I am just hoping for the best. We in Australia are not blessed with all the proper goodies for our Zs like the US.

daveb91 11-26-2016 08:45 AM

Fly1motorsports makes the one just like Carlitos had custom made

I do know that, but as I stated in this thread already, shipping cost to Australia is a Bitch!

Shipping costs more than the bumper itself.

That's why I may resort to the 09-12' SS lip from within Australia.

carlitos_370z 12-08-2016 01:24 PM

We already talk bro! Thanks Cooltoy for always be here helping others bro!

Hey carlitos, why are you on your second SL rep. Lip? Don't tell me you breaking it lol.

And btw, I spoke to an offical SL distributor here and they told me that SL are in the process of making their lip for the facelift (2013+) models. How long? i do not know.

And it only costs us Aussies $800 AU (~$600USD) for genuine FRP lip, not bad.

Hhahaha! well bro let say that the first front lip meet a fcking box of Bananas on my way to the Job :shakes head: the lip broke in 3 parts and one of them a truck crushed... sounds like a movie :bowrofl:

BTW that sounds great! I hope they come with something new... I love the Seibon GT Front lip but is for the 09-12 370z:shakes head:

shadow85 12-12-2016 11:56 PM

Also I spoke with Seibon today. They can make a custom order to make any of their lips fit any model 370Z not listed on their website i.e. 2013+ models, however in order to do this they want:

-full non-damaged bumper to design the mold off

-a minimum order of 40 pieces

-deposit upfront

They will not custom make me one piece because too much time and manufacturing to make just one piece :(
