I used add-a-circuits and terminal blocks for constant and ignition 12V that I tie to for all of my interior mods. Tapping an existing circuit is fine for a couple of things, but I think it's much cleaner to add circuits for your additional accessories and the extra work up front makes adding more accessories down the line a lot easier.

I'm getting this little cubby 3d printed. There are a few sites that will do it for you.

That seems pretty cool...unless I'm simplifying this too much? |
Yes, it's that simple.

USB was fairly new technology back 8yrs.. lol noone faking uses mini-usb nomore... my Hero2 in da Z uses mini-USB :ugh:

I still think the "Ejecto Seato, Bro" decal looks better on that button.

I just did this. But I'm thinking if changing it up to smoked glass engraved with a Z logo and possibly backlit red. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f02406e4eb.jpg

That's sort of my plan. I actually bought that piece from a guy who makes them. Has a bunch of different styles and colors. I like the way it looks but now it's got the wheels turning, so I'll probably use it as a template to make some sort of backlit glass unit.

Now that is really cool!
I've been saying for a long time now that 3D printers should start making it possible for car enthusiasts to start designing their own interior replacement trim pieces to mod things. But I haven't seen too much of it happening.
This is great! But it made me think and you know what I'd like even better? I wish there was a variation of this cubby that had more of a slot in the bottom of it so an iPhone could slide into place in it, with the Lightning connector sticking up so it would plug in, docking into it. One of the annoyances I have with my 370Z right now is lack of any good place to put my iPhone 7 Plus. It's just a little bit too wide to stick it in one of the cup-holders. I can put it in the center compartment itself, but then it's not easily accessible - and I'm liable to forget it when I get out of the car. Quote:

I know, resurrect thread from the dead lol.
I see where people have just used the wires to the passenger side adapter. I am looking for one that has a feed even when the car is off. |

Just depends on how you wire it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I’ve seen people post pictures of the 3D print of the Button Delete and did not like how bland it looked. So i decided I’d make my own version, I made it where the bottom is attached afterwards so I can wrap it in alcantara fabric. I wanted it to look like something that Nissan should have installed for the Nismo model. I think it came out perfect
