Front bumper paint suggestions
I just need help deciding. So I have a pearl white front bumper that needs to be painted and some people are telling just to paint and because the paint shop can match it really close. Now another group of people are telling me that you have to blend it and stuff to make it look good and match. I don't know what to decide if anyone can help me out. Blending will obviously cost more but money isn't a factor in this situation I just want it to look good.

You need to find a good painter. No blending needed when you have a painter who knows what he (or she) is doing. Ask what paint they use too.

Depending on the experience and skill of the painter , they should be able to get you a very close match to oem paint. Pick the bodyshop wisely. Do your research. Good quality bumper repaint will not be cheap.

I ended up going to a guy who painted my bumper for pretty cheap without blending panels. The color looks spot on up close. However, once you back away the bumper looks to have a blue/green tint to it and the color is Gun metallic gray. On camera, the color difference doesn't show up either. Super weird.

Thanks everyone for the replies!

A good painter, with the right equipment and materials, can match just about anything. The right equipment can get expensive, so, if you have a "weird" color, don't expect an exact match for cheap.

only the bumper ull prob b ok
but if you did something like jus the hood it is very hard to match and someone could prob catch its been painted |
Make sure they are using flex paint on the bumper, or it will get full of cracks eventually.

I have a pearl white Z. I just hope it comes out matched closest with just painting it.
