Paint damage
 

I saw this after purchasing my 2010 and was wondering if it can be repaired with wet sanding. Any help would be appreciated, thx!

Hard to tell with all of the dirt.
Sanding will help it at minimum. It won't hurt it, but it may not completely get rid of it.

Looks like mineral deposits to me. Should clean off with a weak acid.

Have you even tried cleaning it off? :icon14: I agree with SouthArk that it looks like mineral deposits.

At the very least clean the area best you can so you can evaluate the damage better. Don't even think about wetsanding until you've tried other less abrasive options.

Yep tried cleaning, light polishing by hand. It's the clear coat pulling up looks like. I've watched all Junkmans videos, including wet sanding the Lambo. Think that will be my next attempt, very carefully. I don't think I can remove it if it's the clear coat, just want to minimize it. Thx.
