It's really just my view; it could be just as good too, but the hole is smaller and the depressed area is shorter behind it.

We currently have 2 of the Kamikaze bonnets on order(input about 3 months ago). The vents themselves are not to "force air in" vs "release hot air out". The prominent vent in the middle I find to be very popular for forced induction applications allowing more air to free flow inlet of the bumper (and aftermarket ducts) as it is free released out of the bonnet.
