Thanks to Sergio@3rd Gear Customs in Temecula CA. For those that may not be feeling the Nikko or Moonbeam.

Wow! Nice work!
|
You or the builder at SEMA?
If so, what the booth number? |
You took your car from WA to Temecula?
It is an alternative to the two alright. Much more simple. Can be much better if the flares lined up with the Z's body lines. |
agreed above - the flares don't track with the natural curve of the wheel arches
|
I agree with the other two. But I do like it, it just needs to be fine tuned on the flares.
|
It looks cool but I'm not feeling the fronts, it covers the top of wheel.
|
Oh, and the black rubber sealant going around the arches . . . not straight, totally messy
These are generic overfenders that were slapped on, not fitted to match the body properly sorry the details are just not there also, why would you go custom widebody without coilovers and wheels to get the look? fitment is not on point |
The rear is not bad at all. The front looks a little too low for me. They looks like my 240Z fenders. Nice work tho.
|
Multiple companies make generic arched fenders like that
The difference is in the execution, plus stance. Not present here |
I don't hate it, but don't love it either. Nismo's have awesome curves already, it'll kinda be like Beyonce getting a azz injection............ WHY???
|
Lots of haters I guess.. To each their own

Were the OEM fenders cut under those flares? Looking at this work I actually have to ask
You can laugh people off as "haters" but you can't ignore the factual observations. That black sealant looks unevenly applied |

yeah. feel the same here.
I do like the wide-body look, but because these are bolted on as extension to the stock fenders, they are too low and covering too much of the tires. Think the worst part is that they don't really flow with the rest of the car. They just look too 'after-market'. Sorry. Quote:

its always hard to see how nice cars are until you see them in person but its looking pretty good! Thanks for posting!
Of course if everything was molded that would be more sick but of course that cost $$$$$. |
Pretty much feel how others have already said, the rear is decent but the front just hangs down too low and doesn't really flow.

I remember this build, didn't you post this on the 370Z Facebook page?
|
OP must love sandblasting his fenders... That paint is going to get the **** beat out of it where the over fenders end prematurely...
|
This is poorly executed in all facets. Sorry but not my cup of tea.

This was not a build for purists, this wasn't a build for the track guys. In reality it wasn't a build for anyone aside from myself. If others enjoy it great, if not well they can go kick rocks. I can understand and appreciate this not being everyones style. What I can't appreciate or respect is people talking trash for the sake of talking trash. I know that A LOT of blood sweat and tears and painstaking detail went into this build. I can not nor will I take credit for the actual build itself. The concept was mine, the work was done by Sergio @ 3rd Gear Customs Honestly pictures do not come close to doing justice. |
