Rear Fog Light JDM Light/Wiper Stalk

Hey guys, I've been searching the forum for the longest time trying to find a definitive answer on whether the rear fog light will work with simply switching out the light and wiper stalks behind the steering wheel to one that has the built in fog light switch (such as the JDM, Canadian, or European one).

Courtesy Parts sells a combo kit of the JDM stalks (yes they are switched around because of right hand drive in Japan, I'm not too worried about that part) and the rear fog light here: Nissan JDM Rear Fog Lamp Kit - 2009 370Z : CourtesyParts | Genuine OEM Nissan Parts & Accessories

According to who I spoke to at Courtesy Parts, they said it will work without modification. I was wondering if anyone has bought this and installed it and had it work without any other wiring? I know on my car I have seen a harness going to the dumby light in my rear bumper, I have a '10 base model sport package btw. Thanks for the help everyone.

Pretty sure it is a simple replacement ... you just have to get used to it

That's what I am hoping for, I'd like it to be as factory as possible so the less wiring the better. And yeah I already practiced taking the dummy light off once and took a wire brush to all of the loctite on the threads lol.
