Question about shineauto amuse kit

I agree with using an aluminum sheet. No rust and is lighter than steel. I would recommend using vhb tape along with screws and flat nuts.

Part number? The image is of the authentic Amuse bumper.

Shine used to be the gold standard for rep kits, but their customer service is so bad... I don't think you should go with them, and god knows when's the last time they remade their mold. Fly1 has had some issues, but hey, you can blast them on here and you'll get a reply within a day usually, lol.

Fly1 or bust IMO *I own 0 Fly1 parts* (I might pull the trigger soon, but I still own 0 at this moment.
Our customer service is "so bad"? What have you heard so far? Or is this just all hearsay. I would love to hear from those who have had a bad customer service experience with us.

And yes... we are still the "gold standard" when it comes to replicas. Who makes better replicas than we do?

Why does a mold need to be remade if it was built correctly and well maintained in the first place?

If you have a standard rigid fiberglass bumper vs a special formulated flexible fiberglass bumper, it is obviously to anyone with common sense the flexible version would be more durable. If you are hitting something straight on, then yes it would destroy in similar fashion. For daily mishaps such as speed bumps, pot holes, etc... you are certainly better off with something flexible than not. The benefits of our flexible material have been echoed by end users across a spectrum of automotive forums.

Seems like someone talking out of his ***.

My body shop is impressed with the quality.

Other then some damage from shipping that needed to be repaired. Which by the way Shine offered to pay for. Will see how the customer service goes when I email them the cost of those repairs. Hope it goes smooth.

Was this recent? I don't remember any 370z kit damage as of recent.

I bought it last fall or maybe a year before, but was not able to get the car into the body shop until now.

Check your e-mails. Zaslavsky.

Ok. I see it now. That was quite some time ago. Please let me know what they quote before agreeing to the repairs.

Thanks. The car is almost done and I have not seen the quote for that part yet, but I am sure we will come to a reasonable number that you can live with.

Had the shine amuse kit on my car for about a year, quality has been great. Scraped a decent amount before I put a skid plate on and no cracks, I'd still be using them if they had a full carbon option. So now I have fly1. I'd say fitment on the fly1 was a tad better then shine. But the shine bumper was like 98% oem fitment anyways lol so not a major diff. Also kit was shipped with no damage.

UPDATE.

I contacted Ken, and he replied fairly quickly (< week). Ken and I came to a refund amount that was good for both sides. Money has been deposited with Paypal.

I am very happy with the product and service I received from Shine. Would recommend to anyone.

Anyone expecting an instant reply to their e-mail will be disappointed, but anyone with patience will be replied to in less then a week.

Thank you Ken.
