Yes turn off AC and run fan only to dry Evaparator core. On top of this don't waste time with filter as it's likely not a filter, sure a febreeze filter will mask it, but evap core foam cleaner will clean and destroy at source of smell. All you do is spray cleaner into the drain tube and the foam expands up into core and drains back out.

That sounds great! Where the heck is the drain tube? (notice I didn't really curse there?)

PROBLEM FIXED: (see my post)

Not 100% sure in 370z as I haven’t had this issue in mine. However the tube is easy to find on any car. Step 1 drive around with ac on. Step 2 park in driveway or garage, step 3 wait a few seconds/ minutes and look for puddle under car, step four look above puddle for open hose tube. The drain is there.

Make sure you keep your cabin air filter changed. If you park the car on recir, it makes the problem way worse. Dial back your temp so you get fresh air several miles from the house.
