Hey guys, looking at potential options to get this done cheaply. Basically both sides of the fender connecting to the front bumper are slightly damaged. It seems to be misaligned and not sure if a shop could fix the bend. The front bumper is a different story and is pretty messed up and the connecting pieces to the fender are damaged.
I still haven't taken it to the dealership to get their quote, but I am estimating they will want 2k from me. If I can get the fender area aligned and flushed, I'd be willing to get a front bra and just hide the damage. I am also looking at buying a cheaper full fender and bumper set (if someone knows a good site) and getting them painted at Maaco or something. Any ideas? |

Don't go to Maaco those guys are garbage as I cant believe they are still in business. The cheapest way I think and I do most of my own painting and body work that are minor is to get a used bumper painted the same and a fender.

Doing some googling, I might be able to score a fender/front bumper combo that is around 600ish on the low end.
I'm still going to shop around and maybe spend more and get something nicer...but assuming I spend about 600ish on the fenders and bumper, how much do you think installation and painting would run me? If any of you live near the DMV area...maybe you could point me to some good shops. Quote:
That is the difficult part...been scoping for the past month and nothing between this site, ebay, and google searches. Last edited by npdabest; 01-11-2017 at 01:37 AM. |
