the lights for the climate control, steering wheel controls, small ambient lighting in the dome, hazard, and sport shift button all stopped working. I searched to see if anyone else had a problem like this and while there were some similar situations, my tail lights, brake lights, and parking lights still work.
Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be? Any help is greatly appreciated

I'd first look at the fuse.

The 10A ROOM LAMP would be my first guess. If that's not it, it's probably in the IPDM. OM and FSM will have more info.

Checked that fuse it just controls the map lights. Also checked the IPDM. I'll take a look at the FSM but so far neither ALLDATA or Mitchell On Demand 2015 have been able to help me

All fuses are fine. Tested via multi-meter

If you are certain all the applicable fuses and fusible links links are good, then wiring is the next place I'd check. I'd start with the connectors closest to the battery/fuse. FSM has wiring layouts and connector locations.
Edit: Since so many devices are affected, the wiring diagrams in the FSM should be able to narrow down the possibilities.

Sounds like you are on the right track. The problem should be between M2 and where the wiring splits to the individual lamps.

It helps that I've been working on car electrical systems for 6 years but unfortunately I just ****** up my back so I can't do that now. Luckily I now work at a dealership and one of my friends works the service department so he's gonna check it out for me

Sorry to hear about your back. I can tell you from experience that pushing to get back into a normal routine can end up doing more harm. Glad to hear you have some help. Once y'all figure out where the wires are routed, narrowing down where the bad spot is should be pretty easy.

I've had the same problem for a couple months. I asked the service department at my local dealership and they have no clue without me paying them to run diagnostics on it. It initially happened when I put an multimeter to the LED in the ambient light. Please let us know if you find a solution because it's driving me crazy.

Figured it out. It's the white box underneath the head unit
