12v outlet

Both my 12v outlets won't wonk. I've checked the fuses and they were fine. What else can i do to check it? Besides going to the dealership for last option.

I would also check the fusebox by the battery

How did you check the fuses? A visual check is not good enough; put a VOM on them.

The car has to be turned on before the jacks are powered up.

OM and FSM will have fuse locations.

Check the wiring or even the outlet itself. Have you done any recent to your vehicle?

I used a volt meter. Well my friend decided to plug in more things into the outlet. It may of overpowered it idk.

Used a volt meter to do what? Check the fuse? Check the jack? Check the wiring?

If the fuse is good, check that you have power at the jack. If you have power at the jack but plug still doesn't work, then the jack and/or plug is messed up and will need to be replaced. If no power at jack, start following the wiring.
